African Children's Schools:  Zambia Project

Killing the Shepherd, released in 2021, was filmed over a three-year period in the Luano in Zambia. Tom Opre, film director, details the experience of the Soli tribeswomen and children in both the film, and his recently released book, "Killing the Shepherd- Beyond the Film." This brief video is one of many short films created to expand on the Soli tribe's story and to help highlight the opportunity this community has as it builds its relationship with the local wildlife.
